Wanda Mae Slessor, age 93 of Canton passed away on August 6, 2019.
Wanda was born in Charlevoix, Michigan on April 7, 1926 to her parents, Prescott P. and Ila M. (nee Marshall) Adams. She is the beloved wife for 35 years of the late John R. Slessor, Jr.; devoted mother of Diane (Bob) MacDougall and Angela Groom; proud grandmother of Karianne Johnson, Suzanne Avila, the late Jason Groom, the late Amanda Trojan and the late Robby MacDougall; great-grandmother of Jack Marshall, Gwen Marshall, Charlotte Johnson, Annalise Avila, Joshua Avila and Brendan Avila.
Wanda is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her and by those whose life was touched by her.
Private inurment services were held at Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Park in Livonia.
