Violet Pauline Toth

Violet Pauline Toth (Fanelli), age 92, went peacefully to Heaven on Sunday, August 14, 2022.  Violet is survived by her daughters, Susan (Henry) Tkachuk, Elizabeth Toth-Nowak (Michael Kim), 3 grandchildren, David Nowak, Meghan Tkachuk Brown (Daniel) and Daniel (Katie) Nowak. She also is survived by her beautiful new great-granddaughter, Rowen Rae Nowak. Violet is also survived by her brother Joseph (Betty) Fanelli, sister-in-law Evelyn Fanelli, many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.

Violet was preceded in death by her husband Donald, parents Joseph and Anna Fanelli, Sisters, Mary Plante (Henry), Dora (Robert) Bartus, and Jeanette (Roger) Wines and her brother William (Evelyn) Fanelli.

Violet was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and a proud graduate of Cooley High School, Class of 1947. She was married in Detroit to Donald in 1954 and moved to Westland Michigan, where she raised her family. In 1985 Violet moved to Canton Michigan where she remained until her death.

Violet will be remembered as a kind and loving person, who taught her family about unconditional love and respect for all. She was known for her wonderful sense of humor, her amazing skills for cooking and baking, her love for reading and bowling, but most of all the love for her family, who will miss her dearly.

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.  There will be a Rosary Service at 7:00 P.M.

Visitation will resume on Thursday, August 18, 2022 beginning at 10:30 A.M. until the 11:00 A.M. Funeral Mass at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 44800 Warren Road, Canton, Michigan.
