Violet E. Powell

Violet E. Powell age 97 of Bridgeport and formerly of Plymouth passed away on September 23, 2018. Preceded in death by husbands Gerald Norgrove and Curtis Powell. Beloved mother of Virgil (Lillian) Norgrove. Preceded in death by daughter Sherry Norgrove & Curtis L. Powell II. Proud grandmother of 3 and great grandmother of 1. Dear sister of William Joseph Russell and the late Norma Whitehead.

Violet worked for the Daisy Air Rifle Company Plymouth. She then worked at Burroughs Corp. in Plymouth and later for Ford Motor Company.

Funeral service will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home 280 South Main St, Plymouth on Friday, September 28th at 11:00am. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30am until time of service. Violet will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery.
