Thomas Allen Valleau, age 83 of Canton passed away on October 7, 2022.

Tom was born on May 9, 1939 to his parents, the late Harry and Vivian (née Gilchrist) Valleau. He was proceeded in death by his loving and devoted wife Carole Valleau. They were married April 7, 1962 at Detroit Oakman Blvd. Baptist Church in Detroit. Tom is also the loving father of Tammy (Tim) Dean, Tom Valleau and the late Kristin Valleau; proud grandfather of Mandy (Ben) Weaks, Ashley (Andrew) Potter, Melissa (Tom) Moco, Brieanne Valleau, Paige Valleau and Alesha Valleau; great-grandfather of Cody, Millie, Easton, Camdyn, Harper, Piper and Kinsley. Tom is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his sister Virginia (Chuck) and brother Richard.

Tom retired from Ford Motor Company after a long career. He was devoted to the Lord and served in the church at Warrendale and Ecorse Community Bible Church for all of his adult life. In his free time, he enjoyed wood carving, watching westerns, and spending time with his family.

His grandchildren said about him that “he was the best papa who was loving and always there for us. He was a great leader of our family but an even better example of how to live a life for Christ and be a disciple."

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2022 beginning at 3:00 P.M. at Ecorse Community Bible Church, 45 Southfield Road, Ecorse, Michigan 48229.
