Terry James Lovell

Terry James Lovell, age 62 of Plymouth passed away on March 10, 2024.

 He was born on September 8, 1961 in Dearborn Heights, Michigan to his parents, the late Ruth (Peterson) and James Lovell.

Terry is the loving father of Lauren Lovell, Becca Lovell, Jenna Lovell and John Lovell and proud grandfather of Ella Borza, Logan Bringard, Ryu Varela and Mira Varela.  He will be greatly missed by his best friend James Cappelli.  Terry is pre-deceased by his siblings, Marilyn, Carolyn and Harry.

Terry spent most of his life in Plymouth, Michigan.   He was a graduate of Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan.  He was self-employed in the landscape and lawn care business.  His commitment to the business was a reflection of his commitment to creating a perfect green space and beautiful landscaping for all to enjoy.

When Terry wasn’t working, he enjoyed watching movies – especially Westerns starring John Wayne.  He loved the entertainment, the stories and the connection to the history based on the timeline of the film.  Also, he was an avid fan of all Detroit sports teams – the Tigers, Lions, and the Red Wings.  But above all else in life, his greatest joy in life was spending time with his children and grandchildren.  

Terry left a legacy of much love and will be missed by all whose life was touched by him.

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1343 Penniman Avenue, Plymouth, Michigan.  Terry will be instate at 10:00 A.M. until the start of the Funeral Service.
