Teresa M. Watson

Teresa M. Watson, age 59 of Van Buren Township passed away on August 12, 2019.

Teresa is the beloved fiancée of John Garner; loving and devoted mother of Monica King and Bary Pulford; proud grandmother of six grandchildren – Ashley (Aaron) Elenbaas, Mathew (Victoria) Hewer, Kayley-Ann Hewer, Britney Hewer, Ryan Martin and Wyatt Elsasser. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her seven brothers and six sisters. She is pre-deceased by her parents and three brothers.

For Teresa, summer in Michigan is truly fun and exciting. Teresa loved river tubing with her family. It was one of her most favorite summertime activities and allowed her to sit back and relax while enjoying our warm weather and take in the sights of different wildflowers and birds while floating along on a picturesque, lazy river. Teresa also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends when going to the casinos and she also loved playing her game Hayday. It provided excitement and much fun for her.

One of her favorite pastimes was shopping at thrift stores, garage and yard sales. Perhaps it was the “thrill of the hunt” for that great bargain or something she could discover or had been searching for that would be just perfect for her or for gift-giving. Teresa enjoyed doing arts and crafts projects which offered her a way to express her emotion and exercise her creativity and imagination. But above all things in life, family meant the most to Teresa. She was so loved and adored by her grandchildren. Teresa knew the joys of being a grandmother and lovingly created many memories for each of them that will never be forgotten.

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Thursday, August 15th from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. A Funeral Service will be held at Schrader-Howell on Friday, August 16th beginning at 11:00 A.M. and will be officiated by The Revered Drex Morton.
