From your granddaughter, Sanaa, from the very beginning, you were always there to love and support me through every phase of life. I will always remember the many adventures we shared together like riding on the train from Detroit to Indianapolis, getting stranded in Chicago on a stormy night and experiencing fine luxury as you loved so much, while we waited out the storm. Spending summers with you in Indianapolis, going to Quiznos riding the indigo bus and me stealing brownies from where you thought you hid them on top of the refrigerator. Our many shopping trips and trying on clothes for your extensive wardrobe. That one time we went down to the little grocery store by your house and you road your wheelchair and I followed behind you on my bike, somehow the wheelchair tipped over and while I was throwing my bike down to come help you up, I had already saw you getting up and kicking the wheelchair straight up ironically enough nothing broke but your toe lol, to our many fast food trips, lunches, dinners, breakfast, we love food. Speaking of food I will keep the DoorDash's coming in your honor these memories and so many more will always be near and dear to my heart. I love you more than words could ever describe and I will miss you so much especially our long phone conversations. Thank you for being my ride or die buddy.
From your daughter, La'Rhonda, I will miss our Mommy & Daughter dates to the spa & dinner. You were always there for me to talk to when the world was beating me down. You always knew what to say to make me feel like I could do anything I put my mind to do. We shared a love for worshipping Jehovah our Creator together. You died a faithful servant to the Most High God. The bible says at John 5:28 "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his (Christ) voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment." I will see you in Paradise again under Christ Jesus rule on God's new earth Ma Dear; Daniel 2:44; Psalms 37:28,29
Until then I find comfort knowing your resting in peace without pain Mommy Dearest. I will always love and cherish you, and keep your memory alive, telling your great grandbabies all about their T-MAMA.
To know Teresa a.k.a. T-Mama was to love her for her witty sense of humor, loving and caring heart, and willingness to give her last to those she loved. Thank you for giving us a lifetime of precious memories Mommy Dearest.
A private family celebration of life will be held in honor of Teresa Drewery Ethington.
