Sukrita Devi Luthra

Sukrita D. Luthra of Plymouth, passed away in her hundredth year on July 23, 2023, at home in Plymouth. She was born in Lyallpur, India to parents Satya Pal and Laxmi Devi.

She moved to the United States in her later years after being a devoted homemaker in both India and the Philippines. She is the beloved mother of Rashmi (Anik Ganguly) Luthra and Bhuvanish (Amita) Luthra; doting grandmother of Shikha (Kenneth Eskew) Ganguly, Shamik Ganguly and Karishma Luthra, and proud great-grandmother of Ashima Eskew and Raina Eskew; dear sister of Prabha Mayaram and is adored by her own extended family and her late husband Kasturi Luthra’s extended family.

A visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Puja Service beginning at 11:45 A.M.
