In addition to his many accomplishments, Stanley was an intelligent individual who embraced lifelong learning. As a proud member of MENSA and Toastmasters, he continuously challenged himself intellectually and honed his public speaking skills.  Including enrolling in two English courses at MSU at the age of 93.
