Sonia Maria Valerio

Sonia Maria Valerio, age 62 of Canton passed away on February 18, 2025. 

She was born in Costa Rica on August 3, 1962. From a young age, Sonia was always hardworking, and she carried that into her adulthood. 

She was diligent in raising her two children, Walter Valerio and Diana Lara-Valerio, as a loving single mother. Along with her two children, she is also a very proud grandmother of four grandchildren – Sonia , Aliana, Alex, and Arya.

Her big heart was displayed through many selfless acts of kindness. She was always independent, supportive, and had a great sense of humor. Sonia is deeply loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
