Shirley Maxine Mucke

Shirley Maxine Mucke, age 94 of Plymouth passed away on May 11, 2024.   She was born on March 18, 1930 in Knoxville, Tennessee and one of nine children born to the late Isabel (née Kite) and Lafayette Davenport Johnson.   

She is the beloved and devoted wife of the late Robert L. Mucke, Sr.; loving mother of Joseph Scott (Debra) Mucke, Tara (Chris) Marschall, and Teresa (Chris) Somercik; proud grandmother of Heather (Jeremy) Pinard, Rachel Mucke, Stefanie (Adam) Michele; Robert, III, (Jenny) Mucke, Heidi (Lance) Murawski, Melissa Mucke, Jonathon Somercik, Elizabeth (Jonothan) Henley, Annette (Collan) Baker and Great-Great Grandmother of Robert Mucke, IV, Ella Murawski, Layla Pinard, Mya Murawski, Evelynn Cleary, Matthew Mucke, Layton Limbright, Landon Limbright, Myles Limbright, Isaiah Baker, Norah Henley, Theo Baker, Aria Henley, Judah Henley.  

She is pre-deceased by her son, Robert L. Mucke, Jr. and two great-great grandchildren – Marley Pinard and Lola Pinard.

She loved her family and the Lord.  She was a card player of all card games and became an awesome bingo player at Plymouth Park Apartments. In her early days she loved to fish and bowl.  She worked at JC Penney in the 50's and even met Mr. Penney himself.  She later in life worked as a paint mixer at American Jetway where she had her own little lab.  She had the most beautiful blue eyes and a calming smile.  She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.  

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 P.M.

Shirley will be laid to rest at Knollwood Cemetery in Canton, Michigan.
