Shirley May Rauch

Shirley May Rauch of Canton, died June 18, 2019 at the age of 86. She was born in Dearborn, Michigan to John and Nina (nee Sprague) Durham. Shirley was the beloved wife of the late Donald Rauch who died in April of this year. Together they shared nearly 66 years of marriage. Shirley is survived by her two loving children Steven (Amy) Rauch of Evans, GA., and Sherri (the late Jeff) Snyder of Liberty Twp., MI., and her four grandchildren Andrew, Victoria (Chris) Alexander, and Timothy. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Lee, Mabel, Wilbur, Menzo, Ione, and Jay.

Shirley worked as an office clerk for many years. After the birth of her children she was able to stay home raising them. Being a mother was her greatest joy in this world. She loved playing all sports, especially bowling. Shirley also enjoyed doing arts and crafts. Shirley was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 22, from 11-1pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, MI 48170. Her Funeral Service will begin after the visitation at 1pm.
