Sandra S. Zain

Sandra Susan Zain of Plymouth, died March, 2, 2019. She was 57 years old. Sandy was born October 7, 1961 the 2nd of 4 children to Lawrence and Mary Deja. Sandy is survived by her loving son Anthony (Alexia) Zain, beloved father Larry Deja, dear siblings John (Deborah) Deja, Linda (Joseph) Quin, and Daniel (Stefanie) Deja, cherished nieces and nephews Kelly (Alex), Kathleen, and Frederick (Meghan), and her precious grand niece Annabel and grand nephew Hart. Sandy was preceded in death by her beloved mother Mary Deja who died in 2017.

Sandy was a loving mother and homemaker. She was a very positive and uplifting person who loved her family and friends dearly. Sandy had a contagious smile and her laughter filled the room. She loved warm weather and the beach. She was smart, inquisitive and fascinated with learning new things. As a family, we would travel to Florida every winter growing up and spend fantastic times together. She loved to travel and explore new places. Sandy’s favorite past time was going out to eat with her family and friends, she loved trying new food and exploring different restaurants with her son. Sandy will be sorely missed.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 6, from 5-8pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, 48170. There will be a Rosary Service at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, March 7, at 10am at St. Colette Catholic Church, 17600 Newburgh Road, Livonia, 48152. Family and friends may begin visiting the Church at 9:30am. Memorial donations may be made to Right to Life.
