Ruth Lillian Richard

Ruth Lillian Richard, age 92, passed away February 17, in Livonia, Michigan.  Ruth was born July 13, 1930 to her parents the late Denver and Lillian (nee’ Oldenburg) Barker in Plymouth, Michigan.  Preceding Ruth in death were her two husbands, Calvin Brown and Charles Richard and her daughter, Sandra Brown. 

Surviving is her daughter Kathleen (Howard) Blackwell of Wisconsin and stepdaughters, Lisa L. Richard and Carol (James) Holtzclaw as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Two sisters, Rose Scott and Ann Burk also survive.   Preceding Ruth in death were her siblings Richard Barker, Duane Barker, Robert Barker, Betty Barker and Norma Barker.

Services for Ruth will be held on Wednesday, February 22, at One O’clock in the Chapel at Oakland Hills Cemetery, Novi, Michigan officiated by Reverend Jeff Noble after which she will be laid to rest next to her late husband, Charles Richard.
