Rosemary Prueter

Rosemary Prueter of Plymouth, Michigan passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026 at the age of 95. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Rosemary was born on April 29, 1930 in Elkhart, Indiana and was raised in Van Wert, Ohio. She married John Prueter in 1953, and together they shared 73 loving years. In 1969, Rosemary and John moved from Ohio to Michigan where she stayed actively involved with supporting her family, her church, and her interest in all things sports.

Rosemary was an avid bowler in the “Bonanza All-Star Bowlerettes Ladies League” and was a competitive tennis player for many years. She also was a bridge club member. In later years, Rosemary never missed a chance to cheer on her sons or her grandchildren at their activities. She dearly loved her family and the pets she and John had over the years. Rosemary will be remembered for her caring nature and the spirited determination that those who knew her best will always smile about.

Rosemary is survived by her husband John, sons David (Karen) and Steven (Karen), grandchildren Jeff (Pauline), Becca, Vanessa and Tatyana. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren – Maggie, Helen and Lewis.
