Ronald Yaszek

Ronald Yaszek, age 81 of Plymouth passed away on June 25, 2024.

He was born on April 9, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to his parents, the late Wanda (née Lempicki) and Walter Yaszek. Ronald is the beloved and devoted husband of Gloria (née Repko); loving father of two children – Lisa (Doug Davis) Yaszek and Kristen (Bryan) Richey. He is the proud grandfather of Jack Richey and Qase Yaszek Davis. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his sisters-in-law Rita Repko and Carol (Wolfgang Beatham) Repko.

 Ronald enjoyed a very successful career as a Director with Masco Corporation.

He was a sport car enthusiast and proud owner of a Chevrolet Corvette. He loved and admired the appearance of sport cars. But most of all, while driving his Corvette, it was the thrill of the ride that gave him so much enjoyment. His love of cars was a lifelong passion and allowed him to tell many fascinating stories.

Ronald was also a great handyman. He could fix anything. He had the expertise and experience necessary to help with a variety of projects. He knew how to build, repair and maintain anything around his home from a leaky faucet to more complicated task.

Above all things, family was the most important in Ronald’s life. Ronald was a great example of a husband, father, father-in-law, brother-in-law, grandfather and friend. 

Family and friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 2:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. A Rosary service will begin at 7:00 P.M.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 North Haggerty Road, Plymouth, Michigan on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 beginning at 10:00 A.M. Ronald will be in state at the church 9:30 A.M. until the time of the Funeral Mass.

Following the Funeral Mass, a luncheon will be held at Rocky’s of Northville, 41122 West Seven Mile Road, Northville, Michigan. Maps to the luncheon will be available at the Church. 

Ronald will be laid to rest at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights.
