Robert Leonard Forrester passed away April 9, 2024 at the age of 83. He was born September 20, 1940 in Union City, Tennessee to Leonard Wilson and Mary Elizabeth (Cude) Forrester. He is deeply loved by his children Bradley Forrester, Roberta (Jayson) Torres and Leslie (Michael) Davis, his grandchildren Chelsie Davis, Alivia Davis, Samantha Torres, Ava Davis and Alaina Davis. He was preceded in death by his grandchildren Austin Torres, Jordyn Torres and his parents. Bob was also preceded in death by his brother Donald Forrester, Donald’s wife Joyce survives.
Bob grew up in Plymouth and was a 1958 graduate of Plymouth High School. Later having lived in Ypsilanti and the past 20 years in Cheboygan, Michigan. He was a welder and fabricator having mostly worked in the construction industry. He was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Bob was truly an outdoorsman. He loved to bow hunt in Michigan as well as out west. Bob was an animal lover. It is no surprise he enjoyed watching the Discovery Channel as well as the National Geographic Channel and any nature related show. He also enjoyed old westerns, especially the black and white ones, such as the older “Gunsmoke” shows. He is loved by many and will be missed.
A Memorial Service will take place later.
