Richard Wallace McMann, a cherished father, brother, and friend, passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on November 30, 1933, in Jackson, Ohio, Richard lived a life filled with dedication and a love for his family that touched all who knew him.
A proud member of the Navy and the Seabees, Richard served his country with pride. Committed to serving his community, Richard was part of the Operating Engineers Troop 324. His commitment to service was a testament to his character, showing dedication to the value of hard work that stood out to those who knew him.
Richard was an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman, spending countless hours in nature. Known for his incredibly loving personality, Richard also had a cheeky side that kept those around him entertained. He crafted his own miniature cannons, delighting family members by firing them off during get-togethers at the cottage, creating lasting memories that will be fondly remembered.
He is survived by his beloved son, Patrick (Cory) McMann; his brother, Donald; his sister, Barbara; and many loving nieces and nephews who held him dear to their hearts. Richard is preceded in death by his beloved wife, as well as his parents, Rupert and Alice McMann.
