Richard Arthur Waack

Richard “Dick” Waack, age 79, passed away in Lebanon TN on December 30, 2021.

Richard Arthur Waack was born in Plymouth MI to Dorothy Speck Waack and Earl Waack.

Richard never met a stranger and enjoyed a successful career in in sales at Pat Milliken Ford for nearly 40 years. He developed many friendships with his clients and enjoyed long business relationships. He found satisfaction in being able to help multiple generations with their automotive purchases regularly helping grandchildren of his original clients with their first cars.

Richard enjoyed spending time around the house and yard ensuring that his annuals and perennials looked their best. This typically involved a coffee run and a trip or two to the hardware store. He liked to stay busy, would be an understatement.

He is survived by wife Sharon Hoffman Waack, children Carine (Mark) Lutz, Brian (Cheryl) Waack, and Rebecca (Daniel) Nelson, and grandchildren Haley Waack, Emiley Waack, Kahlia Nelson, and Daniel Nelson, III.

He is preceded in death by parents, Earl Waack and Dorothy Schmidt, and siblings, Shirley Marshall, Clifford Waack, and Robert Waack.

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street Plymouth, on Monday, January 10, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. with a service to begin at 12:00 P.M.

Richard will be laid to rest in North Farmington Cemetery in Farmington Hills, MI following services.
