Priscilla Louise Hite

Priscilla (Cilla) Louise Hite, age 85, of Pinckney, passed away on April 19, 2026. She was born on October 7, 1940, to her parents, the late Virginia (née Tarr) and the late Albert Forbes.

Priscilla is the loving mother of Kari (David) Krause, and Kristen Topolski; proud grandmother of Kyle Krause, Corinne Topolski, and Marie Topolski.

She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her siblings, Donald (the late Marjorie) Forbes, George (Mary Lynn) Winslow, Geoffrey (Felisa) Winslow, and Nancy (Dennis) Audet. Priscilla is also survived by her former husband, Joseph Hite.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Stephen Amador, stepmother Miriam Forbes, stepfather Alvah Winslow, as well as stepbrothers, David Winslow and Richard Winslow.

Cilla loved singing. She was a member of Sweet Adeline’s and a chorus in Florida. She also participated in community musicals.

Cilla was very artistic. She enjoyed ceramics and painting. Her beautiful handwriting was also a work of art.

Over the decades, she was fortunate to be able to enjoy many cruises with various family members. This was very special to her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
