Phyllis Rose Riggs

Phyllis Rose Riggs, age 81 of Plymouth, passed away peacefully at Angela Hospice Care Center in Livonia with her loving family at her bedside. Born in Detroit to parents Joseph & Leona Schatz on September 9, 1937. Married the ‘love of her life’ Al Riggs on July 1, 1972 and who preceded her to the Lord on October 18, 2004. Survived by her children; Don (Patty) Clark, Tom (Jaci) Clark and Janet (Brad) Craig. Dear step-mother of Brent (Janice) Riggs, Derek Riggs, Todd (Sue) Riggs and Kristy Riggs. Proud grandmother of Joshua Clark, Katelyn (Nathan) Kuyt, Benjamin (Brittany) Craig, Lauren (Nathan) Smith, Charlie Clark, Jonathan Clark, Trevis Clark, Tristen Clark and Cara Clark. Great grandmother of Kaden Clark, Everlynne Smith and Aviona Kuyt. Beloved sister of Thomas Schatz.


Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 11:00am at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home 280 South Main St, Plymouth. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am until time of service. A graveside service will take place immediately following at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth.
