Peggy Joyce Mckinney

Peggy Joyce Mckinney, age 86, passed away on May 3, 2025. She was born on July 23, 1938, in Edmore, Michigan

Peggy graduated with the class of 1956 from Dearborn High School. Peggy devoted 41 years of her career to Ford Motor Company, serving as an executive assistant. She enjoyed many wonderful years in retirement collecting antiques & cookbooks, baking with her daughter, and appreciating sunsets over the Catoctin mountains from her porch with her hound dogs. She was always present with a tactful wit and sharp humorous personality that is greatly missed by all who knew her.

Peggy is survived by her beloved daughter, Erin (John Shinn) Mckinney, and her loving hound, Georgie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell, with whom she shared 28 wonderful years.

A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held as she is laid to rest on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Parkview Memorial, located at 34205 Five Mile Rd., Livonia, Michigan.
