Paulette Laree Morgan of Canton, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022. Paulette was born on September 30, 1952, youngest daughter of the late Paul and Jessie (Noblin) Kelley in Detroit, Michigan.
Surviving are her beloved husband, James, of 48 years, along with their two sons, Patrick (Carrie) and Daniel (Rachel). In addition, her five grandchildren, Kent, Maeve, Sloane, Evelyn, and Ramona, brought much joy and laughter to her life. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy Pollack.
Along with being a devoted wife and loving mother, Paulette had a long career in the healthcare industry. As an LPN, she served in both clinical and private contexts and cared for many people. Her eye for detail and curiosity also kept her engaged in many extra-professional interests. Paulette became a master gardener, a deft seamstress, a consistently inspired chef and committed Pilates practitioner. Paulette loved to make things flourish. She was a supreme source of love and support for her husband, sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren, and her ever-blooming garden will long be a living memorial to her caregiving nature. She was protective even of the butterflies (mantises, too!) that she fostered.
She will be dearly missed by all.
