Patrick G. Pope

Patrick G. Pope, age 75 of Flint passed away on January 26, 2026. He was born on August 14, 1950 in Holbrook, West Virginia to his parents, the late Nettie (née McCoy) and Homer Pope. Patrick was a dedicated and hardworking man who spent thirty years at SpartanNash. In addition to his longtime service, he proudly served as a Teamsters Union representative.

Patrick is the beloved and devoted husband of 20 years to Denise (née Schaller) Pope; loving father of Kelly (Vince) Wallace, Patrick Ryan Pope, Kristy Pope and stepfather to Jessica Boysen (Jimi Rudicil), Rebecca (David) Grimm and Eric Boysen; proud grandfather of Austin (Jaelle) Marken, Calen Harshman, Aiden Manor, Connor Pope, Carter Manor, Finley Pope, Piper Pope, step grandfather to Aaron Marken, Vincent Wallace, Austin Wallace, Ashley Malega, Alyssa Malega, Jacob Grimm, Shaun Rudicil, Jimi Rudicil, Kaydence Rudicil, Harmony Rudicil, and great-grandfather to Peyton Wallace, Paisley Wallace, Viggo Marken, Koa Marken, Mason Wallace, Tucker Wallace and Hendrix Dowell. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his brother, David Pope and his sister, Sharon McDonald.
