Patricia Curry Oldford

Patricia Curry Oldford, age 83 of Plymouth, Michigan passed away peacefully on November 24, 2023.

Beloved mother of Thomas (Beth) Oldford, Martha McGraw and John (Heather) Oldford, she was preceded in death by husband Howard Oldford, daughter Sarah Oldford, sister Maureen Curry, and by parents John Francis and Bridget Mary (Whelan) Curry.

Patricia was proud grandmother of Clare, Bennett and Andrew (Martha), Sarah (Thomas) and Sloane (John), and aunt to her niece Ann Marie Fillingham. She is also survived by countless loving family members in Co. Carlow and Kildare, Ireland.

Patricia spent her childhood in Brooklyn, New York, and graduated from Michigan State University with a teaching degree. She married Howard at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral in Manhattan, and settled in the Plymouth area to raise a family.

Patricia was very active in the Plymouth and Milford communities, volunteering with the Plymouth Arts Council, Milford Historical Society, Christ Child Society of Detroit, and later in life a member of a Plymouth PEO Chapter. She had a deep love of art, furniture, architecture and became a well-loved decorator of homes.
