Olga Slatina

Olga Slatina, a remarkable individual known for her unwavering kindness and dedication, passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on June 28, 1933, in Crosswell, Michigan, she spent her life cultivating not only beautiful gardens filled with vibrant roses but also meaningful relationships with all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Olga was a hard-working and thoughtful woman, always ready to lend a hand to those in need. Her compassionate spirit often shone brightest during the Easter season, a time when her connection to spirituality resonated deeply within her. As a devoted mother, she cherished her family dearly and will be profoundly missed by those who loved her.

Among her many interests, Olga found joy in watching soap operas, particularly "Young and the Restless." She embraced the role of part of the audience, often becoming emotionally invested in the lives unfolding on screen. Additionally, she enjoyed the thrill of game shows, regularly joining the contestants in spirit as she did what brought her joy.

Olga is survived by her sons, Steve Slatina and David Bokach, her sisters, Barbara and Victoria, and many nieces and nephews who will carry forward her legacy. She joins her beloved deceased family members, including her husband Stephen Slatina, her parents John and Anna Bokach, and her sisters Helen, Catherine, Stella, Anna, and Mary, as well as her brother John.

Olga Slatina's spirit will continue to thrive in the hearts of those she touched; her generous nature and unwavering love will not be forgotten.
