Nicholas J. “Doc” Cirino, a cherished member of his family and a highly respected dentist, passed away on December 26, 2025, in Westland, Michigan. He was born on June 23, 1929, in Montreal, Canada to his late parents, Louis and Antoinette (nee' Sancolla) Cirino, and lived a life defined by dedication and service.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mildred, with whom he shared 67 wonderful years of marriage. Their partnership was a testament to love, commitment, and mutual respect, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew them together.
Nicholas is survived by his two loving children, Nicholas (Laurie) and Christopher (Nancy), who carry forward his legacy of compassion and diligence. He was a proud grandfather to Jennifer (Scott) Ramsden, Marissa (Tyler) Hooper, and Michelle Cirino, and he delighted in the joys of being a great-grandfather to Owen Ramsden, Jackson Ramsden, Charlie Ramsden, and Carson Hooper.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Nicholas proudly served in the United States Army, demonstrating his commitment to his country. This dedication extended beyond his military service into his everyday life, where he continued to serve his community and family with kindness and love.
Nicholas enjoyed a distinguished career in dentistry, where he earned the respect and admiration of his peers and patients alike. His commitment to serving his patients with care and compassion was the foundation of his practice.
Nicholas had a tremendous love for the game of golf and spending time on the course with his family and friends. He also loved spending time on the lake at the family cottage with family and friends, with days full of fun, laughter and great conversations, and of course his favorite pipe on the front porch.
