Nancy Poszywak

Nancy Lou Poszywak, age 86 of Plymouth, passed away on June 26, 2025.

She was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 21, 1939 to her parents, the late Albert and Elizabeth (née Kurkowski) Zwolan. Nancy is the beloved and devoted wife of the late John Poszywak; loving mother of Karen Cartmill, Thomas Poszywak, and Sharon (Derek) Thews; proud grandmother of Ian (Becca) Cartmill, Sarah Poszywak, Daniel Poszywak, Tyler Poszywak, Angelina Poszwak, Owen Poszwak, Evan Poszywak and great-grandmother of Madison, Emma, Lucy and Claudia.

She is pre-deceased by her children, David Poszywak and Michael Poszywak.

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 2:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. There will be a Rosary Service at 6:00 P.M.

Visitation will continue on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 North Territorial Road, Plymouth, Michigan beginning at 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M.

Nancy will be laid to rest at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights, Michigan.
