Nancy Carolyn Pangrazzi

February 2, 1933 — January 27, 2025

Nancy Carolyn Pangrazzi, age 91, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 2, 1933, she was the cherished daughter of the late Frank and Sarah (Jones) Angell. Nancy's legacy as a dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother to 7 children, 9 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren is a testament to her love and devotion to her family. She will be remembered for the warmth and kindness she brought into the lives of those around her.

Preceding her in death was her beloved husband Louis, her son Stephen Pangrazzi, and her siblings Frank, James, Raymond, Justine, Joseph, and Shirley.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, JoEllen (Duke) Hergatt, Sandra McGraw, Cynthia Kehoe, Anna Pangrazzi, Mary "Cathy" (Alexis Kraft) Pangrazzi, Carol (Nick) Rieske; her grandchildren: Alisia (Cary), Benjamin, Colleen (Kevin), Katie, Jesse, Jessica, Leah (Chad), Rachel (Scott), Duke (Jocelyn); her great-grandchildren: Carter, Kennedy, Conor, Welles, Chloey, Taeia, Emily, Andrew, Eliana, Jack, Josey, Sophia, Gia, and Roman. She leaves behind her brother and sister, Sandra (Billy) Cheek and Robert Angell, along with numerous nieces and nephews, and friends who were like family.

Nancy grew up in Danville, Virginia where she graduated high school and met the love of her life Louis. They married, relocated to Lincoln Park, Michigan, and eventually settled in Westland Michigan to raise their family. Community was everything to Nancy. Visiting with family and friends over coffee, or while enjoying dinner and dessert, talking for hours, was how she preferred to spend her time. She was extremely well read and a life-long learner.

Nancy had the ability to make everyone in her presence feel important and loved. The success of her family is a direct result of her unconditional love and support and the endless $20 bills that she insisted her grand and great grandchildren take, “Buy something nice”, she would say. She loved all children as if they were her own. All of the children she babysat, throughout the years, still called her Grandma Nancy to this day.

Her high school yearbook read, an Angel is Nancy-personality plus-cheerful and friendly. Her family would describe her as a real character, who always kept her family and friends in stitches. She was a loyal caretaker, a support system, a place you were always welcome, and could forever call home. Thank you for this life and everything you have given us. We will be forever grateful.

Goodbye Darlin, we will love you forever.
