Michael D. Geistler

Michael D. Geistler, age 65 of Westland passed away on January 27, 2026. He was born on February 6, 1960 in Detroit, Michigan to his parents, the late Patricia Ann (née Plummer) and Donald James Geistler.

Michael is the loving and devoted husband of Janine (née Reed) Geistler and loving father of Matthew James Geistler. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his brother, Walter J. (Jeanette) Geistler as well as his many nieces and nephews – Ryan (Paige) Keatts, Randy (Kristi) Keatts, Nick Edgar, Veronica Edgar and Christie (Shawn) Donn.

All who knew Michael also knew that he was a huge fan and collector of Seattle Pilots memorabilia. The Seattle Pilots were a Major League Baseball expansion team that played only one season in 1969 in the American League West before relocating to become the Milwaukee Brewers in 1970.

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
