Maryanne, age 87 of Plymouth, Michigan, a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on August 16, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan to her parents, the late Agnes (née Bibby) and Daniel Sheehan.
Proud of her Irish heritage, Maryanne carried that heritage close to her heart. She also had a special love for Notre Dame football and enjoyed following the Fighting Irish. Travel was another favorite part of her life, giving her the opportunity to see new places, taste new foods, and create lasting memories.
Maryanne dedicated many years to caring for others through her work at Providence Hospital where she served as a phlebotomist and nurse’s aide. Her work reflected her caring nature and her willingness to help others.
She is survived by her children – Kathleen Meagher, Maureen (Thomas) Murray, Michael (Lynn) Meagher and Colleen (Tim) Pennington; proud grandmother of nine grandchildren – Megan (Gregory) Hatty, Brendan (Julia) Murray, Conor Murray, Kaitlyn (Scott) Rzepka, Alyssa (Teddy) Phillips, Sean Meagher, Jake (Alyson) Fedel, and Andrew (Lauren) Fedel, as well as the late Maeve Murray, and six great-grandchildren – Eleanor, Theodore, Oliver, Chance, Molly, and Brooklyn.
