Mary Joanne “Mary Jo” Workman, age 82, of Plymouth, passed away on February 27, 2021.

Mary Jo was born on April 29, 1938 in Monroe, Michigan to her parents Deland G and Elizabeth M Mercure (nee Sanders).

She went to Trenton high school and graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She was known for her genuine smile, warm hugs, laughter in the kitchen, naps on the red couch, cabbage patch dolls, jigsaw puzzles, and a beach bag with an endless supply of yummy snacks. Boost your mood with some of Mary Jo’s buttered noodles, cinnamon sugar toast, milk cocoa, or fried cheerios.
