Marjorie Janice Urbani

Marjorie Janice Urbani, born on July 23, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan, entered into eternal rest on November 24, 2025. Marjorie leaves behind a legacy woven with love, creativity, and resilience.

From a young age, Marjorie demonstrated an unwavering work ethic, beginning her career at the tender age of 13. Her journey led her to bookkeeping, where she honed her skills and ultimately became the dedicated bookkeeper for the pharmacy owned by her late husband, Richard Urbani. Their partnership, built on 49 years of love and mutual support, was a testament to their deep bond and shared dreams.

Marjorie was a craftsman at heart, finding joy and solace in woodworking. She poured her creativity into crafting beautiful tables, many of which still stand proudly in their son Rick's home, a warm reminder of her talent and thoughtfulness. Her passion extended beyond wood to knitting, where she spun yarn into tangible warmth and comfort for those she loved. An enthusiast of puzzles, she welcomed every challenge with a playful spirit, often assembling pieces upside down if a puzzle threatened to be too simple.

Marjorie is survived by her loving son, Rick Urbani, who carries forward her legacy with pride. She also leaves behind her dear sister, Delores Webster, and nieces and nephews: Linda (Wayne) Swan, Kelly (Aaron) Frasier, Penny (Devon) Rau, Michael Primeau, and Craig Primeau, who fondly remember her warmth and guidance.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Richard; her father, Alvin Hauk; her mother, Ray (Newton) Hauk; her brother, Pete Hauk; and her beloved sisters, Marabelle Virgin and Erma Primeau. Each of these relationships shaped her life in profound ways, and they will be cherished in the memories held by those she left behind.

As we celebrate Marjorie's life, we remember her kind spirit, her artistic talents, and the love that radiated from her. Her memory will forever dwell in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her, leaving an undeniable imprint on the fabric of their lives.
