In Loving Memory of Margo Louise Panko August 11, 1939 – June 18, 2025
It is with deep sorrow and immense love that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Margo Louise Panko, who left us peacefully on June 18, 2025. She was surrounded by the warmth of family, love, and treasured memories.
Margo was a beacon of strength, kindness, and compassion. Born in Saginaw, Michigan, she built a life rooted in love, family, and her unwavering faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. She dedicated her days to shaping young minds as a 6th grade teacher offering wisdom with grace, support with gentleness, and love without condition. Her passion for educating the next generation was more than a career; it was her calling, and she embraced it with joy and purpose.
She was the heart of our family and the foundation upon which we all stood. Her laughter filled our homes, her hands comforted our hearts, and her words guided us through life’s most difficult moments. Margo had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel seen, valued, and unconditionally loved.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, Richard of 58 years; her children, Jeff, Cathy, and Kim; grandchildren, Richard, Elizabeth, Janos, Mateo, and Argen; and her two great-grandchildren, Brody and Gabriel, who lovingly called her “Gigi.” She also leaves behind countless other family members and friends whose lives were touched by her warmth and generosity.
Margo had a rare and beautiful ability- she could walk into a room full of strangers and walk out having made lifelong connections, knowing everyone’s name and story. She was loved by all who encountered her. Her energy and love of life were infectious. Her smile and laugh could light up a room, and she carried a natural beauty and grace in her presence. She was never afraid to try something new or travel to unfamiliar places.
