Lynette Marie Gajewski, formerly Nagy, passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 52.

Born on October 2, 1973, Lynette grew up in Plymouth, Michigan, and later made her home in Dearborn. She was a graduate of the University of Michigan and held various positions in environmental-related roles.

Lynette was a very warm and loving person whose kindness and compassion touched the lives of those around her. She had a gentle spirit and a way of making people feel welcomed, cared for, and valued.

She had a deep love for nature and animals, especially cats and horses, and found joy in spending time outdoors. Lynette also loved to travel and especially cherished her trips to Jamaica, where she enjoyed the beauty of the island and the peaceful connection with nature it brought her.

Lynette is survived by her brother, Scott, and his partner, Joe, Aunt Vi who she loved like a mom, as well as her beloved nephews, Joey, Nathan, and Andrew. She is also survived by her former step-daughter, Jamie. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Memorial arrangements will be announced by the family at a later date.

Though she is gone too soon, Lynette’s warmth, love, and gentle spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
