Lois Ann Carnes

Lois Ann (Jacobson) Carnes, age 77 of Land O’ Lakes, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2022 after a long battle with lung issues. She was born on November 16, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan to her parents Beulah and George Jacobson.

Lois was a loving wife of 58 years to Neil, a devoted mother to three sons - Alan Christopher, Kenneth Lynn (Lisa Newby), and Neil James, and an adored “Lolo” to two grandchildren; William Neil and Kari Lynne as well as a friend to many. Preceded in death by her parents, and sons, Neil James and Alan Christopher.

Lois was a very active hockey mom who could often be found at the ice rink cheering on her sons.  After raising their sons in Plymouth, Michigan, Lois and Neil retired to the Nashville, Tennessee area. During their time in Tennessee, they made many lifelong friends through their involvement at the Cornerstone Church. Lois and Neil eventually moved to Florida where they enjoyed the beautiful, warm weather.
