Linda Anne Zolman-Brelsford passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025 surrounded by the love of her family.
She was born on July 21, 1944, Linda was the beloved daughter of the late Betty Zolman (Brelsford) and Marion “Murph” Brelsford. She was also preceded in death by her cherished dogs, Baron and Murphy, who brought her so much joy and companionship.
Linda was a proud graduate of The Ohio State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education. Teaching was not just a career but a calling for Linda, and some of her fondest memories came from her time spent in the classroom, nurturing and inspiring young minds.
Above all, Linda was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her loving daughter Dawn Joy (Eric), grandsons Dawson and Carter Armbruster, and step-grandchildren Kara and Nathan Joy. She is also survived by Alison Fitzgerald and Vickie Foltz, who were like daughters to her in every way.
Her role as “Mimmie” was one she cherished deeply, and her grandchildren were the light of her life. She loved fiercely and gave her heart fully to those she held dear.
Linda’s life was rooted in her deep faith in God and her unwavering love for her family. These values shaped every aspect of who she was—gracious, compassionate, and deeply devoted.
She will be remembered with immense love and missed deeply by her family and friends, and most especially by her daughter, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond.
