It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Larry Moore, a visionary corporate executive and dynamic entrepreneur who left an indelible mark on the media and technology landscape. Mr. Moore, aged 74, passed away on January 8th, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones.

Larry was born to Sarah and Louis Larry Moore and then moved to Belleville Michigan where he attended high school and met his fabulous wife of 54 years, Nancy (Merecki) Moore. They began their travels together with their two children, Tim Moore and Nikki Raymor, giving them the wonderful opportunity to live in Hershey, Pennsylvania; Indialantic, Florida; Fairfield, Ohio; and then eventually returned to Plymouth, Michigan where they would continue their adventure with friends and family.

During his time as a world traveler, he not only touched the 4 corners of the globe, but also the hearts and minds of numerous colleagues and students.  He was known internationally as a friend and mentor who gave without asking and was always quick with a smile.

With a career spanning over 45 years, Larry Moore was a trailblazer in the media industry, renowned for his entrepreneurial spirit and leadership. In addition to multiple other ventures, he founded, he was most well-known for his passionate development of CText, Inc., a company that would become a pioneer in developing cutting-edge software solutions for the media sector. Larry Moore was not only a seasoned businessman, but also a dedicated community member. He leaves behind a legacy of innovation and leadership that will be remembered for years to come.

In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Moore was an enthusiastic husband and is survived by his wife, Nancy; two children, Tim (Janice) and Nikki Raymor (Bud); his five grandchildren, Brandon, Steven, Ryan, Ellie and Alex; and his two sisters, Dianne Marsh and Ruth Hook (Robin). Larry's contributions to the media and technology sectors have left an enduring legacy, and he will be fondly remembered by colleagues, friends, and the communities around the world that he touched.
