Kenneth W. Schang

Passed away at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the age of 69. Kenneth was born in Detroit, the son of Anthony and Anna (Kitzman) Schang on September 10, 1941. He earned his B.S. and M.S.E. degrees from Wayne State University. He worked for various companies including TRW, Arvin-Meritor, Creative Industries, AMC and MascoTech all in automotive design and development. With his wife Morag they have been long time residents of Plymouth. He is survived by his wife and his two sons Brian (Jennifer) and Mark (Carole) Schang. His grandchildren, Sarah, Katelyn, Kristen, Kyle and Nathan along with sisters Carole (Dick) Cole and Eilene York also survive. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4pm until time of a Memorial Service at 7 pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth. Contributions are suggested to Crohns Colitis Foundation of American at www.ccfa.org or the Littlefield Presbyterian Church of Dearborn. Sunday afternoon there is an event occuring in downtown Plymouth. Signs leading to the funeral home will be posted showing detour.
