Ken "Kaz" Kazimierczuk

Ken Kazimierczuk (Kaz) passed away on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026 in Mesa, Arizona, age 69. Born on April 12th, 1957 in Warren, Michigan.

Ken is survived by beloved wife of 34 years, Carolyn; his son Tyler (Dillon) Carr; his daughter Carly (Josh) Sulak; and doting grandfather to Stella Sulak. He is also survived by his mother, Joan Kazimierczuk; his siblings Steve (Darelyn) Kazimierczuk, Sheryl (Art) Rosales, and Vince (Diana) Kazimierczuk; his brother-in-laws Bob Szczodrowski and Dave (Kim) Szczodrowski; sister-in-laws Rikke (Randy) Meissner, Cheryl Szczodrowski, and Lisa Smith; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his son Austin Kazimierczuk, father Ralph Kazimierczuk, sister Denise (Ron) Kunze, sister-in-laws Dee Szczodrowski and Cindy Szczodrowski, and brother-in-law Steve Smith.

Ken was known for loving his family including his wife, children, and his new granddaughter. He loved going to family gatherings, always with a Michigan sports team outfit on, a beer in hand, and a joke at the ready, where he could relax and reminisce on the good times. He was an avid Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Lions fan. He had a love for bowling, Pepsi, Strohs and Labbatt Blue, Newports, cookies, and gas station coffee. He never met anyone that he did not like or could not start a conversation with (although a quiet man to his family). Everyone could always count on him whenever they needed a helping hand. His coworkers often called him MacGyver because there was nothing that he couldn't fix. Through many house projects, whether for his family, his friends, or for strangers, he left his mark finishing the task with his knowledge and expertise. His work ethic, warmth, and love will forever be carried on by his family, ensuring he is never forgotten.

Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home at 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan. Visitation day and time to be announced at a later date.
