Katherine M Sautter

Kathryn Mary (Bittmenn) Sautter passed away peacefully in her home on March 3, 2024.  Kathryn was born in Newark, New Jersey, to Joseph G. and Eva K. Bittmenn.

Kathy worked as a court clerk in the Plainfield, New Jersey, judicial system before moving to Michigan with her husband, Bill.  After raising her children, she worked as a Sales Manager for an automotive tooling supplier before officially retiring in 1997 to care for her family.

Kathy and Bill spent 57 years together before his passing in April of 2023.  She is survived by her Sons, William (Carol) Sautter and Scott (Cassandra) Sautter; Grandchildren, Samantha (Timothy) Monti, Christina Duva, Jillian Sautter, and Mitchell Sautter; Great-Grandchild, Joseph Monti; Brother, Joseph (Ida) Bittmenn; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents.

Visitation will be held at Schrader Funeral Home on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 2:00-7:00pm, with the funeral service at Schrader Funeral Home on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 11:00am.

Kathy enjoyed working in the garden with The Garden Gals at St. Timothy Presbyterian Church.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the church, 16700 Newburgh Road, Livonia, Michigan 48154.

Katherine will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth alongside her beloved husband, Bill.
