Karen Margaret Mulholland

Karen Margaret Mulholland passed away suddenly on May 21,2025. Karen’s warmth, kindness and giving heart left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Born on January 9, 1962 in Detroit Michigan she lived a life with unmatched kindness. She grew up in Westland, Michigan and graduated from John Glenn High School in 1980. After marrying her husband Stephen Mulholland (predeceased), they moved to Wayne Michigan. Karen worked as a legal secretary and recently transitioned to working for Mr. Green Lawncare. Her real legacy was a life built beyond any job title. She deeply loved her Dalmatian Rescues. We ask you to please keep Maizey her current 4 legged companion in your prayers as Maizey adjusts to the loss of Karen.

Karen is preceded in death by Ernest and Catherine Perushak (parents), Stephen Mulholland (husband), Michael Mulholland (brother in law).

She is survived by Cathie Tonkovich sister (John), Pattie Perushak, sister her brother Todd. In laws: Mary Kafer, Bridget Nelson, Karen Mulholland, Kathleen Mulholland, Teresa Fotuna (Mark), William Mulholland, Leo Mulholland(Terri), and Mathew Mulholland. As well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor the memory of Karen Margaret Mulholland are invited to consider a contribution to your favorite charity.

Visitation will be at Schrader Howell Funeral Home on Friday May 30, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM followed by Memorial Service at 3:00 PM also at Schrader Howell Funeral Home. After the service, those wishing to share a meal in Karen’s memory may do so at Cantoro’s located on 15550 Haggerty Rd., Plymouth MI, 48170.
