Judith Ann Detherage

Judith Ann Detherage, age 78 of Huron Township passed away on October 23, 2019.

Judith is the beloved and devoted wife of 58 years to the late Thomas Detherage who passed away on February 5, 2018; loving mother of Barry (Deborah) Detherage, Ron (Darlene) Detherage, Timothy Detherage and Sara (Michael) Dancey and proud grandmother of six grandchildren. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her siblings, Kenneth (Peggy) Hart, Virginia Reichenbach, Alberta (George) Meyers and Brenda Davenport.

Gardening was one of the things Judith so enjoyed in her life. She derived the satisfaction of nurturing her plants and watching them grow. The sights and sounds of birds, bees and butterflies in a garden made her surroundings beautiful. She was an avid reader which is probably why she loved doing crossword puzzles. The puzzles provided equal parts of something challenging and yet provided relaxation too. Judith also enjoyed watching hockey games and was a loyal Detroit Red Wing fan.
