John Thomas Stephens

John Thomas Stephens passed away February 26, 2022 at the age of 73. He was born February 12, 1949 in Detroit to Thomas Walker and Edith Elizabeth (Wright) Stephens. John is deeply loved and survived by his wife, Barbara E., his daughter, Kristie (Anthony) Burge, his grandchildren, Tiffany, (Garrett Trygg) Germann, Taylor Germann, Lexi Germann, Jake Burge, Luke Burge, Kasey Burge, Keegan Malloch, and Liam Malloch. He is also survived by his beloved dogs, “Scooby” and “Oatie”.

John retired form Michigan Caterpillar in 1988 where he worked as an Engineer for many years. He loved bowling, drag racing, cars and more cars. He loved his family so much - they were everything to him. He was loved and will be sorely missed by many.

There will be a Funeral Service Thursday, March 3, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan. Friends may visit Wednesday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
