James Adam Simpson

James Adam Simpson, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away at the age of 70 on February 2, 2024, in Garden City, Michigan. He leaves behind his loving wife of 37 years Carol and son Daniel.

James dedicated an impressive 40 years of his life to the Ford Motor Company. As an electrician, he tirelessly served the company finishing his career at Brownstown Township.

Outside of his professional career, James was a proud member of the Redford Eagles and enjoyed spending time with fellow members. James had a passion for playing cards, especially Euchre. Whether it was a friendly game or a competitive match, he enjoyed the moments spent around the card table. In addition to his enjoyment for playing cards, James collected antiques appreciating the craftsmanship of the items collected.

James’ warm-hearted nature endeared him to all who knew him. His kindness and generosity touched the lives of many.  His compassionate spirit made him a friend who could be relied upon for support.

In addition to his wife and son, James is survived by his siblings Leslie (Rick) Beaman, John (Rhonda) Simpson, Kathleen (Phil) Bastianelli, Sharon (Gordon) Johnston; nephews Andrew and Adam (Lindy) Beaman, Tony and Brian Simpson, and Michael Bastianelli, niece Krystal Johnston, and grandnieces Blair and Quinn Beaman. He was preceded in death by his parents James Edward and Clara (Bechard) Simpson and his brother David Simpson.
