Harrington
December 21, 1931 – March 15, 2026
John P. Harrington, age 94 of Plymouth passed away on March 15, 2026. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on December 21, 1931 to his parents, the late Dorothy (née Powers) and John P. Harrington.
He is the beloved and devoted husband of the late Dorothy Harrington; loving father of three children – Patrick (Virginia) Harrington, Mary Harrington and Ann (Brian) Wiggins; proud grandfather of Paul (Kate Collier) Savoie and Zoe Wiggins. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews.
John enjoyed a very successful career and retired from J. Walter Thomson, a pioneering, historic American advertising agency. He also proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
Friends may visit at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 North Territorial Road, Plymouth, Michigan on Monday, March 23, 2026 from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M.
Following the Funeral Mass, John will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, Michigan.
