Joan E VanVlerah

Joan E. VanVlerah, age 90, of Bloomfield Township and formerly of Plymouth, died September 10, 2022.  Joan was an Archivist with the Henry Ford Museum for 17 years.  She was a member of the DIA and Sigma Kappa Sorority.  Joan was also a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James on January 20, 2021.  They were interred together at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth, Michigan.  Joan is survived by her 2 daughters, Susan (John) Grdic and Kathryn (John) Kempton, 2 sons, Robert (Cindy) VanVlerah and John VanVlerah.  She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
