Jim Taylor, age 74 of Redford, passed away on July 30, 2022. Born on April 9, 1948 to Matt & Lucy Taylor. Beloved husband of the late Janis. Loving father of Shannon (Clyde) Beaver, James Yaworsky and the late Sheila Yaworsky.
Visitation Tuesday, August 2nd from 5:00PM to 9:00PM and Wednesday, August 3rd from 2:00PM to 9:00PM at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home 280 South Main St, Plymouth. Funeral service Thursday, August 4th at 11:00AM at the funeral home. A luncheon will take place at Farmington Hills Church of God after the service.
Jim will be buried beside his beloved wife & daughter at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Livonia.
If anyone would like to make donations in Jim’s memory, they can make them to Farmington Hills Church of God, which will benefit Eastern Kentucky Flood Relief.
Jim was an avid fan of the Detroit Red Wings & Detroit Tigers. He loved Classic Country Music, especially the Judds & Marty Robbins. Jim retired from Total Armored Car Service in Detroit where he was a route supervisor/dispatcher after 39 years of service. He enjoyed going out to dinner with his family & friends along with attending outdoor concerts. Jim also did freelance photography for WCXI radio in Detroit in the late 70’s to early 80’s. Jim was a kind-hearted, Christ loving man who would do anything for anyone. He will be missed by so many that knew and loved him.
