Jeffrey Alan Blackburn

Jeffrey Alan Blackburn, age 79 passed away on April 30, 2025. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 9, 1945 to his parents, the late Dorothy (née Thornton) and Harry Blackburn.

He is the beloved and devoted husband of Frances; loving father of Joseph (Lauren) Blackburn, Rebecca (Chris Cooper) Blackburn and proud grandfather of Max. He is pre-deceased by his sister, Beverlee McAllister.

Jeffrey was a sports enthusiast. He enjoyed all of the professional Detroit sports teams as well as Michigan State sports. He also enjoyed playing cards, especially euchre and poker.

He was known for his friendliness as well as his great sense of humor. His personality was often characterized as being an extrovert. He was expressive, outgoing and loved being with people. He was talkative, sociable and considered a warm person. All who knew Jeffrey said he never had a negative word to say about anyone.

Jeffrey is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all whose life was touched by his.

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 2:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.

A Celebration of Life at Schrader-Howell will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 beginning at 11:00 A.M.
