Jean Rice Upton

Jean Rice Upton, age 96 of Plymouth passed away on July 2, 2022. She was born in Highland Park, Michigan on March 1, 1926 to her parents, the late John and Florence (née Rice) Crandell.

Jean is the beloved and devoted wife of the late William R. Upton; loving mother of four children – Karen (Clark) Chapin, Laura Upton, Carla (Greg) Gonthier and John (Alicia) Upton; proud grandmother of Bill (Anna) Chapin and John (Lisa) Gonthier and great-grandmother of Elizabeth and David Chapin and Stanley, Kenneth and Robert Gonthier.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan on Saturday, December 9, 2023 beginning at 2:00 P.M. until the time of the Memorial Service at 4:00 P.M.
